The Secret Window

poem by: Clinton Strong
Written on Oct 21, 2015

If there's any place to witness grace,
or graze seas of stars in outer space.
summon into the attic room,
the secret window.

If you shall return to crescent moon,
Please promise me you'll follow soon,
Just outside the attic room,
the secret window.

If winds of change are blowing hard,
Write my name aback a photo card.
Sills within the attic room,
the secret window.

If you're lost, or so alone.
You know in me, you'll find a home.
Wait inside the attic room,
the secret window.

I am no expert but trying to create a mystical place is hard to do. I like it but i like "Of Mexico" better because it shows your soul a little clearer. Would like to see more of your poetry.
