A Dark Night

It was a dark night and I was on my way home The streetlights were off and I was alone Then from out of the alley came a man He was tall and he grabbed me. Slam! Against the wall he pinned me And then he grinned at me I didn't know what he was going to do. I was scared. He unzipped my dress. I tried to scream but I was too distressed At what was happening to me I can't go down that alley for fear that I'll see That evil bastard who stole my purity Once he'd had his way with me He calmly walked away But those memories will stay with me Every single day I run and I run, but I'll never escape Those memories of my rape

Oh Theresa!.......I can only imagine your fear......I hope that evil bastard rots in hell!........you're so strong by exorcising that experience in a poem....that in itself is a form of therapy............

Thank you Frank. It happened a long time ago and it took me so long to build up the courage to tell anyone.

A harrowing sad poem Theresa, hope you're ok. Time can be a healer also good friends to talk too. I hope the evil thing that attacked you rots in hell. Stay strong Theresa x
