A great and powerful city once known By the name of niniveh tremendously grown Characteristically was it affluent That its very name was of strong influence Across the sea into the west From the hand of god this city was blessed Glamour, pride, beauty, and power Ruled their heart then all became sour Seeds of sins began to germinate The laws of righteousness fail to demonstrate Wicked deeds upon their soul it feeds With all the unlawful desires the king will agreed Idolatry became the tower of babel Throwing babies into fire they seize to rebel The nobles condemn through corrupt laws And the cries of innocent echoed through dungeon walls From a distant land a stranger approach To warn great niniveh of their drastic reproach The hope of righteousness met their faith And niniveh the powerful remains the great

The Ninevites to change their course .they were ruthless indeed.never the less some
Turned to serving the lord.the others got destroyed as Jonah fortold.
