Bye Baby

Haunts me yet, memories of goodbye,
To a life not yet even begun,
A thousand thoughts of what might've been,
A thousand tears for a lost daughter or son.
In time the tears they will subside,
But within the emptiness will remain,
Nothing on earth can fill the void,
Of a departed child without even a name.
Of the lingering sorrow I long to speak
To end the silence, to have a voice
But within my guilt I am improsioned,
Cause to end this life was my own choice.
