We need to talk

Nerves set in befor the words can you form from your lips,
Sweat runs down your face and heartbeat increases as your breathing tryies to catch up
Hands shaking like an earthquake, You know that the time had to come but whether you were ready for it was a question.
Do you remember all that you want to say but never have the time nor the balls?
You've done bigger badder things than just say four little words to someone which could ruin what you have you can feel the words coming up like vomit, word vomit, in your head you repeat the line over and over
“we need to talk”x3
What comes out is a weird squeaking sound followed by those words
The person sitting across from you says ”okay, is something wrong?, are you all right?, you're starting to scare me.
Your heart is basically beating out of your chest not knowing how they're going to react to what you got to say you left as if those four words aren't enough that you now put them into a panic.. and not to mention yourself... Why is it so easy to say what you need to say to someone on a bright little screen and keyboard but let you Try and say it in front of them, seeing their heart rase out if their chest, hearing their breathes increase as a pant.. You just loose it..
What are they going to say?, what if they get mad?, What if you say the wrong thing?, What if they get emotional?, what if what you had to say wasn't what they wanted to hear but at some point it had to come out right? you couldn't keep those thoughts in your head because you would over thought everything and second-guess everything then where would you be? I know in a worse predicament than now.
Is it better to keep what you have to say bottled up and hurt yourself mentally OR mentally let your thoughts be known and potentially risk everyone around you?
