Who knew life would be so hard and stressful for me 
To get knocked down to my knees so suddenly 
Without a single warning or sound in sight
No one to warn me of what life was like without a fight
Not a soul in sight and not a single heart out that night
I saw how the devil can cause so much fight
So much hatred and negatively all around 
The devil came into your life and mixed up the problems and cause fights
Or is it just our decisions we make in our life 
Or maybe its the people we let into our life
Not really knowing their real insight on the purpose of their life
Not having goals and dreams in their life but live to mess up the next one in plain sight
A persons life with the tongue that god may take away
Is the same tongue you use on the girl from around the way
Yes the one with the STD , who you thought was so innocent and sweet 
The same one you swore up and down was as pure as pure can be
Just like salt looks like sugar
Just like the devil was once an angle 
Don't let looks be your wrong turn to failure 
But a beautiful mind, a pure heart and a great listener
Oh my is a such a wonderful sight
Knowing you have crossed the path with a cleansed heart
Wondering if they are benefiting you or holding your heart
Wondering with a heavy mind will this be it for me
In this life time or is this really it for me
