My friend I will never meet

I never met you 
And those who have are few
Angels company you keep
A climb for me still too steep

I wasn't born yet
You weren't ours to keep 
You existence we never hide
Though I know mummy cried 

We've all moved on 
But we know you watch on 
You are an angel now 
Your story one I rarely tell 

Mum still talks to you
I hope her voices gets through
As I get older 
I notice I do to 

You were before my time 
Left before it too 
But even though we never met 
I love you my sister
Forever I will wait until 
I meet you
