ABOVE US ONLY SKY
The bluest sky of Milwaukee is at the exact sport as that of Saint Lucia
A million miles from nowhere standing in the exact sport of yesterday
Chin up head upright I see the vastness of space and time in my mind
How far is heaven perhaps behind the pale blue clear sheets of cloud?
Up a distance towards Calvary a quiet sport sky and sea melt away
The Island is a continent the brain too small to ponder what’s not there
Down beneath it’s just a nut in a tight shell in a pool of nothingness
And the loneness of my soul wanders into endless voids seeking refuge
Where do they go when their time expire looking back at creation Selah
The heaven above or the earth beneath for above us only sky Selah
Below us darkness and few wants to know the mysteries of dark places
And then I awoke to find me flying to where I have never known Selah
