The Childs train set
The child looked at his train set
Laid out so neatly
Around his building bricks, towered high.
It was going to be great he thought
He wound track around impossible bends
Just ignored any obstacles he met
With blind breakneck turns; as towers teetered
On flimsy foundations.
Soon he reached the end of the table.
The end of his patience!
As the track trailed to the precipice
“I’ll finish tomorrow, it’ll be greatâ€
And he walked out the room, leaving
The train steaming to it’s fateful terminus.
