God's Kiss
Every night when you go to sleep
And pray the Lord your soul to keep
Who comes in the room and put you to bed
And softly and gently kisses your head
And when you wake up in the morning
You look to see a new day dawning
Forgetting most of the dreams you had
And seeing your reflection, it makes you glad
You hurriedly prepare for the day
While that happy dream fades away
And journey to the kitchen and grab a cup
While never thinking about who woke you up
Forgetting the God who used His breath
To keep your soul from eternal death
So at all times please remember this
That it's God who wakes you with His kiss
