Nobody

poem by: Royce B
Written on May 01, 2015

Have you seen Mr. Nobody?
He's faceless, invisible
Nobody looks

Have you heard Mr. Nobody?
He has no voice, speaks no words
Nobody listens

Have you passed Mr. Nobody?
He's in the way, push past him
Nobody stops

Have you felt for Mr. Nobody?
He's insignificant, intangible
Nobody cares

Have you supported Mr. Nobody?
He's broken, such a burden
Nobody helped

Have you remembered Mr. Nobody?
More important things, not a second thought
Nobody remembers

Have you loved Mr. Nobody?
He's worthless, not good enough
Nobody loves him

Have you noticed Mr. Nobody?
The scars, the tears,
Nobody cares

Have you mourned Mr. Nobody?
He's six feet under, in a casket
Everybody mourned
