Watchmen and Watch women

Watchmen and Watch women on the wall.
Alas do not fail to hearken unto our dire
Warnings' clarion calls, Jesus is coming
Soon! For the past many years all of you
Have heard His saints say, "Jesus could
Be coming back for us any day now!"

Yet when one day of the Lord is one
Thousand years and a thousand years
Is just like a single day. Since He has
Been away for almost 2,000 years as
Of 2033. Exactly how much time is
Necessary for you to fall down on

Your knees and confess your sins? Thus
Truly believing in Him! Hence having Him
Wash away all of your sins. Inheriting
Everlasting life and faith only in Him!
Our watchmen community keep all of

Our ears on the ground and our eyes lifted
Upward unto heaven's lofty skies. Many
Of us carefully watch and monitor the
Daily news. How can we fail to perceive
Our soon departure is neigh at hand?
All you have to do is stop and take a

Good hard look around at the signs of
The times? Instead, will you still continue
In your blindness until our Lord Jesus.
Comes back down to the middle of
The sky and takes His children away?

Behold He stands at your heart's doors,
Loudly knocking more than e'er before.
Just for your sake's open up your
Hears' door and let His Holy Spirit
Come and enter into your hearts.

Right now today without any more
Delays! Why be almost persuaded
To latter on follow Him until after
The Great Catching Away? When
First the dead in Christ are raised
And we who are alive and remain.

Will be caught up in the clouds to
Be reunited with Him in the middle
Of the air. And now it is really up
To you will you be left behind? Or
Will you be caught up in the middle
Of the air? Don't wait any longer!

Your watch woman on the wall,

Wishful thinking

poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Why waste the time of day in wishful thinking? Why spin cobwebs in the air? Why wish upon a star, when no one hears? Many years I have spent in wishful thinking. Day dreaming most of my life away. Wasting away the years, Ign... Read more

Jesus Christ is my major source of inspiration, it is quite obvious to me. Without his help, I would possess no talent for composing any of my inspirational Christian poetry. He provides the words to say. He lightens my heavy ... Read more
