Heavenly Father Please Forgive Me

poem by: Roxanne Dubarry

Heavenly Father, please forgive me for I have
Grievously sinned against You in thought, word
And in deed. I am very sorry for needlessly
Grieving Your Holy Spirit by not listening

Either unto His divine guidance or adhering
To any of His corrections and changes that
He desires me to make in my remaining
Years of my senior's golden earthbound life!

Heavenly Father I praise Your precious Holy
Name for Your abundant mercy and endless
Grace are renewed each and every day. 'Cause
Great is Your faithfulness Lord God unto me.

Cast away far from me into the darkest and the
Deepest sea all of my never ending habitual sins
And endless inequities. For against You only have
I sinned against You. Please, also believe me that I

Sincerely do honestly love You and adore and
Bow down before You. 'Cause Heavenly Father I
Fervently do 'appreciate You.' For the many
Blessings that You have freely bestowed on

Both my loved ones and on me. You and I both
Cherish and hold them dear. Please chase away
All of our doubts and our fears 'from the river
to the sea,' all of Your children shall be free!

Please give us this day our daily bread and
Forgive us our debts and we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not unto temptation but deliver us
From evil for Yours is the Kingdom and the Power

And the Glory forever! Great things You have taught
Us great things You have done. You loved the whole
World so You gave us your Son; to die on the cross
For anointment for sin and opened your life gates

So all may come in! Great is Your Faithfulness O
God our Father morning by morning new mercies
We see. All we have needed Your hands have
Provided! Great is Your Faithfulness since we believe!

All of my love and heartfelt endless devotion and
Dedication in Christ Jesus!

Wishful thinking

Why waste the time of day in wishful thinking? Why spin cobwebs in the air? Why wish upon a star, when no one hears? Many years I have spent in wishful thinking. Day dreaming most of my life away. Wasting away the years, Ign... Read more

Jesus Christ is my major source of inspiration, it is quite obvious to me. Without his help, I would possess no talent for composing any of my inspirational Christian poetry. He provides the words to say. He lightens my heavy ... Read more
