Mindful of Me

Every yes you speak, every step you take,
A piece of me goes with you 
And you may have it all.
When I look at where we stand now
and where we have been,
I know we will make it through.
I may not know how,
I may not know when,
but we will find our way again.
I need you more today
than I did yesterday.
So, who am I
that you are mindful of me?
