Worlds Within

poem by: E.J. Waling

Worlds
within
worlds
within
worlds.
Cascading.
One
to the
next.
Consciousness
creating
new worlds,
realities.
Virtual.
Conscious
minds move
in.
Not out.
Out
into
endless
voids of
nothingness.
Radiation.
Stellar
explosions.
Years of
hard,
difficult
exploration.
Dangerous.
With little
to show
for the
effort.
Instead,
immersion
into
virtual
realities.
Beautiful
spaces.
Wonderful
places.
Infinite
utopias,
one
after
another.
Exploring
inner-space.
Manufactured
to meet
personal
desires,
needs.
No effort.
Just slide
on in.
Nirvana in
every way.
Where
is everybody?
Not
out here.
In there

You believe in your infinite utopias, and exploring inner space and in the world of Nirvana. Our worlds may as diverse as worlds far apart but I appreciate both talent and contemporary simplistic styles of your poetry
