O I Am Flying Sky High in Heaven's Lofty Skies

O You need n'er to every ask me why,
I am flying sky high,
In heaven's lofty skies
Soaring on the wings
Of an eagle,
Looking down ward
Upon the earth's
Meandering people.

Racing about madly to and
Fro with no clear directions
Where ever they need to go,
Their lives are filled with
Distractions, confusions
With little or no face to face
Personal interactions.

The right pathway in life

The ways of the peaceful tranquility's
Are foreign to them, they ne'er know,
That there's only one restful pathway
In their daily lives that they need to go.
Most depart from this live with no life
Saving relationships with Jesus Christ.

Wherefore art Thou my Lord?

O Wherefore art Thou my Lord?
Lo I have searched far and wide
All in diligent search of Thee
Even in the depths of Thine
Deepest and darkest seas.

O Wherefore art Thou my Lord?
Why hast Thou hidden Thine
Beautiful presence far away from
Me? My soul is laden and heavy
Burden and as restless as it can be.

Lo I have traveled along the lowest
Valleys and hill sides and Thou has
Still hidden Thine eyes from me.
Why canst Thou set my captive soul
And chained spirit free?

And how long will I have to climb the
Highest mountain top and looking down
Far and wide all o'er Thy pleasant
Country sides?

Lo it 'twas then that Thou spoke unto
To me. I was always only a single solitary
Prayer away from thee. But thou was so
Engrossed in thine own pain and misery.
Totally unable to e'er believe in Me.

'And ye shall seek me and ye shall find me
when thou hast searched for me with
All of thine heart."

Many will say I am delaying My Coming

And will fall fast asleep
 with not enough
oil in their lamps,
faith and belief in their
hearts

Just as their fathers fell
fast asleep there's
nothing new under the
sun they did say,

When the global flood
came upon the earth
and only eight people

were saved
but all of the rest the
flood waters washed away.

All of my love in Christ Jesus,

Wishful thinking

poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Why waste the time of day in wishful thinking? Why spin cobwebs in the air? Why wish upon a star, when no one hears? Many years I have spent in wishful thinking. Day dreaming most of my life away. Wasting away the years, Ign... Read more

Jesus Christ is my major source of inspiration, it is quite obvious to me. Without his help, I would possess no talent for composing any of my inspirational Christian poetry. He provides the words to say. He lightens my heavy ... Read more
