THE COLOUR OF LOVE

THE COLOUR OF LOVE
He drifted off to sea many months ago
Standing on the shores of a lonely beach
My heart poured out anguish, desire, and regret
The loudness of my heart powered his tiny vessel
Watching him disappear across the horizon
A chill mist blew towards me that made me shiver
The customary kiss goodbye was forgotten today
In despair, I turn my back towards the ocean and pray
Upon my shoulder was a tap, my love, you forgot the kiss.
Fishing will be late, but the color of love once more triumphs

Your heart must be feeling all alone and lonely indeed while your fisherman is busying drifting out to sea. Way out there in the ocean blue rest assured while he is fishing, it is you he is a missing and will be welcoming you with wide open arms upon his return with a nice batch of fish to fry!
