Because He lives
Because He lives, we are no longer prisoners tossed about,
With many conflicts and doubts. He is our firm foundation
And the solid rock upon which we stand. Because all other
Ground is sinking sand. O How we love the Son of Man.
He is the Great I AM! He is the Great I AM!
Because He lives, He has helped us to forgive, and to
Love one another, as fellow brothers and beloved sisters.
As Christ has first loved us--we are able to also love Him.
Now and for always, now and forever more.
He alone is the one we worship and adore.
He is our bright and shining candle light
Illuminating our paths by day and by night.
He is the author and the source of our
Everlasting lives. And darkness shall
N'er extinguish His bright Holy light.
Because He lives, we can face each new day,
Confidently and ne'er more be afraid of
What sorrows tomorrow may bring our way.
For He has taught His children how to pray.
And He abides with us for now and for always.
Because He lives, we can shout His glorious victory!
And ne'er more be afraid of death, hell and the grave.
Because we have been sealed via His Holy Spirit,
That shall always abide both with and also inside us.
He will always remain truthful and faithful to us.
