O Blessed be the ties that Bind
And grant unto us true peace of mind,
By resting in Thine blessed assurance
Which is so very much holy and divine.
O Blessed Redeemer Thou art truly mine.
Where forth could I e'er depart from way
Down deep within mine own heart? Could
I e'er escape Thy presence so very holy and true?
For ne'er more do I seek to e'er depart from You.
Mere ordinary human words can ne'er more explain,
When hope departs and despair does come? Lo
Thou shalt never leave nor forsake me for now
And henceforth ever more throughout all eternity.
O Blessed be the ties that verily bind Thine holy
Heart so divine cleansing and healing mine own
Sin laden heart of woe--often wondering where
Forth I ought to go forth? For Thy presence
Leads unto north and south and east and west.
Thine very own pathways art the very best ones
For all of humanity but also for your very truly.
Thou hast ne'er hide Your holy presence from me.
Verily there is so much more to Thine redemption plan,
To rescue and redeem lost and forsaken humanity.
Our very own heavenly destines are always resting
Deeply safely and securely throughout all eternity!
Forever in Thine divine presence we shalt always be
Neither life nor death nor principalities in heavenly places
E'er be able to separate us nor snatch us away from Thine
Divine hands oh beloved Son of God and Son of Man!
