I have been redeemed by His love and His mercy
I have been redeemed by His love and His mercy,
And I have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb,
And I am His child forever, I truly am. I have been
Forever set free cause of the blood of the lamb.
What wondrous matchless grace and everlasting mercy,
My Good Sheppard has freely bestowed upon me,
For only He could verily set me free and deliver me.
From all of my habitual sins and endless inequities.
For it was only His never ending mercy and His redeeming
Grace that saved a lost and lonely wretch such as me,
Who once was lost and blind and could not see nor
E'er behold Him in all of His wondrous glorious holiness.
Lo Christ's shed blood on Calvary has verily started and
Has completed my salvation's story and lo it is not an
Excuse to sin, He has stamped my immortal spirit and
Soul free from my dire consequences of mine own sinful lot.
Yes, once I was blinded by my sin but now I can really
See my light of my whole entire world is none other
Than Jesus Christ. The only true and lasting source of
My eternal life is only made possible cause of Him.
Lo for where could I go away from His Omnipresence?
If I find my lot inside the center of the earth, can He
Not behold me there? If I mount up like wings like an
Eagle to heaven's lofty heights, could He not find me there?
Lo for He is Omnipotent and all powerful and all seeing,
His strong right arm has delivered me cause of His
Ever lasting mercy I need n'er perish in my sins,
Lo His sacrifice made once for all has delivered me
From them. How can people say, that we can lose our
Salvation? How many times did He sacrifice Himself
For our sins? Only once and once for all His mercy
Alone testifies that because of Him we shall all live
And n'er perish in our sins, I owe my eternal life
Unto only Him. For it is only by His atoning grace,
That He will n'er more hide His Holy face from me,
And His beloved daughter now and forever I shall always be.
