Where would I be without you Jesus?
I would be completely lost and afraid.
I would be on my own. I would never
enter my heavenly home.
Where would I be without you Jesus?
I really do not want to know.
I would be going the wrong way.
I would never enter your peace.
I would never be able to sleep.
Where am I with you Jesus!
I am as happy as I can be!
I was lost when you found me.
I have everlasting security.
Thank you for remaining with me.
Why should I feel lost and afraid.
When you abide with me always.
I have imagined life both without you and with you.
I have freely made my choice.
I would rather have you beside me.
I would rather hear your guiding voice.
I would rather spend eternity with you.
I would rather not be lonely or afraid.
I will walk in your foot steps until
the end of my earthly days.
